Micronutrient Deficiency Testing:

A Comprehensive Nutritional Analysis for Optimal Health

Micronutrient testing measures functional vitamin, mineral and antioxidant deficiencies at the cellular level.  It provides a definitive answer to what nutrients you need to complement a healthy, healing diet.
Why test for micronutrient deficiencies?

Even those with the healthiest of diets do not get the recommended nutrients needed through diet alone.   Medications, gut dysfunction, stress, and pre-disposed health conditions all affect how the body absorbs and utilizes nutrients.  Each of us have unique, individual needs necessary to support optimal health!  These needs may go beyond the recommended intake guidelines, depending on lifestyle, health history and genetics.

Vitamin, mineral and antioxidant deficiencies have been shown to affect the function of the immune system, triggering a number of symptoms and health conditions.  Testing for deficiencies provides a roadmap for nutrient supplementation to support a therapeutic diet.

What does a micronutrient test measure?

SpectraCell's Micronutrient test measures the function of 35 nutritional components including vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and amino acids within our white blood cells.
